Lightokay processes your photos on your own computer. Here is what that means.
Lightokay is built so that your photos are processed on your computer, and you keep control of your files.
What this means
- Browsing, previews, color analysis, filtering and RAW editing all run on your Mac.
- Your photos aren't uploaded anywhere to be processed.
- Thumbnails, previews and the library database are stored locally, next to your other app data.
That makes Lightokay a good fit for client work, commercial shoots and unreleased projects.
Network access
Lightokay only goes online to check for app updates, which are downloaded from GitHub Releases.
